I am a qualified and professional Counsellor with significant experience in supporting individuals facing a range of issues and challenges. Whether you are confronting anxiety, bereavement, depression, or another difficulty, I can help to support you in difficult times. I am registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and ensure that my practices adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy. At present, I offer sessions over the phone and online, as well as face to face sessions locally at The Yoga House in Llanelli for individuals of all ages. Please do get in touch to make any additional enquiries or to arrange an appointment.
These are some of the areas I have experience in and work with:
At different times in our life, we face different challenges which can be difficult to navigate alone. Counselling can be beneficial in providing you with a safe, non-judgemental space to communicate feelings and concerns openly with a trained professional. Counselling can help you to come to terms with your thoughts and feelings by helping to gain a better understanding of the way you think and feel. The more knowledge you equip yourself with, the easier it will be to start to understand your emotions better.
“I believe each of us deserves the right to be heard, feel valued and believed.” – Emma Fox
Having the courage to consider and take the first steps towards getting counselling can be the most difficult part of the process. I encourage you to call and book a free initial 15-minute telephone consultation, to help you decide if counselling will be beneficial to you. Following your first session, you can think about whether or not you would like to arrange regular sessions going forward.
I endeavour to provide you with all the support you require to get you to a better place within yourself. Feel free to get in touch to ask any questions you may have. I am situated at The Yoga House in Llanelli, where I can provide you with face to face counselling in one of the therapy rooms. I can also offer online and phone sessions. If preferred, you can have therapy from the comfort of your own home.
My sessions are 50 minutes long and I offer a free 15-minute initial telephone call. The rate for my sessions (face-to-face, telephone and online) is £40. For full-time students and concessions, I offer a reduced rate of £35. To find out more about my sessions and payments, please get in touch.
All sessions are kept strictly confidential. I strictly comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to operate my practice, I need to keep certain information on my clients. All this information is kept secure and is only accessible by me. All of this will be explained fully at the beginning of the counselling process and all clients are given a copy of my contract and privacy statement before counselling commences. I will also be able to answer any questions you may have at that stage. I am registered with the ICO and more information can be found on the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) website.
